THINKING OF GERTY (6) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when second over 5f at Bendigo. Taking on a better line-up this time but she has the ability to mix it with them. MISS TALLCHIEF (8) was a long way back last start but hit the line well to finish fourth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 5f at Ballarat Synthetic. Should be doing best work late. SHE DARESTHE DEVIL (10) worked home well and finished second last time over 6f at Mornington, beaten one length. This is a nice drop in grade so she is one of the main contenders. TANGO JEWEL (1) showed good speed and fought on for third over 6f at Mornington last time. Goes well at this journey with three wins and four placings from nine starts and cannot be taken lightly.
