EXTREMELY ROWDY (9) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Pakenham but raced below expectations last time over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside, finishing ninth and beaten 5.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. VARANE (4) wound up strongly last time out to finish half a length adrift in third over 7f at Sandown-Hillside when returning from a lay-off. Settles back early but winds up late. Will prove tough to beat.
