ALTERMATUM (3) knuckled down strongly to get within a head of the winner in second last start over 7f at Sandown-Hillside. Harry Coffey has been in the money at the last five rides. Sure to play a big role. JUPITER HILLS (8) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when sixth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 7f at Kembla Grange after she was prominent at the corner. Will strip fitter and can turn things around. BELCONY (5) accounted for a maiden field over 7f at Pakenham last start when fresh from a break. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Daniel Stackhouse was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders. ACTUALITY (1) ran a better race last start, finishing 1.2 lengths away in fourth over 7f at Sandown-Hillside. Nicely placed to find some form.
