MR I'M A BELIEVER (7) kept coming but just failed to pick up the winner when fresh from a lay-off last start over 1m at Pakenham Synthetic. Sure to derive great benefit from that run. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he has the ability to mix it with them. SUPERSTOCK (4) finished third at this track two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1m1f at Sandown-Hillside, finishing 8 lengths back in seventh. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. MOTORACE (2) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 4 lengths back in fourth over 1m4f at Sandown-Hillside. Solid top-three claims. WAGGA WAGGA (5) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when he was beaten 4.5 lengths into seventh over 7½f at Sandown-Hillside. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
