Did a good job last start to finish third over 1m at this track, beaten 1.5 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. PRECIOUS CHARM (3) was far from disgraced when fifth last start after being in contention on the turn over 1m at this track, beaten 2 lengths. That followed a win at Warrnambool the start prior. Likely improver with strong prospects. KOROBEINIKI (7) built on a nice second two starts back at Pakenham with a win as public elect over 7f at Pakenham two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 2.25 lengths. Nicely placed to make it two on the bounce.
