LAKE TAI (1) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Sale, beaten 4.5 lengths. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. VAIL MOUNTAIN (6) scored in a at Cranbourne but was below his best last time when seventh over 1m at Bendigo. Going up a level this time but he deserves another chance. HOLA AMIGOS (14) has returned in good order this campaign. Opened with a third at Pakenham two starts back then scored by 1.75 lengths last time out over 6f at Pakenham. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough to score again. TRUFFLE FINDER (15) is putting together some solid results. Finished third at this track two starts back then scored by 0.8 lengths as public elect last time out over 7f at Cranbourne. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well.
