MANSIERE (13) turned in a strong performance when resuming when in the money at Sale but disappointed last time when sixth, beaten 3.5 lengths, in the Inglis Sprint at Flemington over 6f. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is sure to be prominent. THALER (4) finished fourth when resuming two runs back then progressed nicely last time out after being in the firing line on the corner to score by 3 lengths over 6f at Moonee Valley. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. PANTELONE (9) was right in contention when they turned for home and kept finding to finish third last start over 5f at Sandown-Hillside, beaten 1.3 lengths when fresh from a lay-off as favourite. Likely improver with strong prospects. FREE MARKET (8) was comfortably accounted for when sixth last time out over 5f190yards at Albury, beaten 4 lengths, after a win at Moonee Valley at the previous outing. Should be thereabouts.
