EPEIRIC (10) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she settled well back over 7f124yards at Yarra Valley, beaten 5. 5 lengths into eighth. Meeting a deeper field this time but she has the ability to mix it with them. BORN SURVIVOR (1) had been rock-solid with three placings in a row before finishing seventh over 7f at this track last start. Expected to improve sharply. FEDORA (11) started at 9/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 21 lengths at Pakenham over 1m after being prominent at the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. TOOMUCH (6) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 3. 5 lengths when sixth in a 6½f contest at Cranbourne three weeks ago. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well.
