NEARING LIBERTY (15) returned from a lay-off last start with a strong win by half a length over 7f at Sandown-Lakeside. Open to plenty of improvement and must be respected. MAXXI BON (6) drifted back from his wide draw last start then hit the line hard to score by 0.8 lengths at this track over 1m3/4f. Ben Allen stays on. Deserves respect.
