BATTAGLIA (2) pushed forward from a wide draw last start and found a position close to the lead before sticking on well to finish second over 7f25yards at this track. Has the ability to take care of this field. BLISTERING (3) finished out of the money two starts back then she settled well back and was beaten 15 lengths when tenth in a 1m contest at Sandown-Lakeside six-and-a-half weeks ago. Finds an easier assignment and can find winning form. MASTERFUL (1) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when fourth over 7f at Cranbourne. Will strip fitter and can turn things around. GRINZINGER LOVE (6) finished second at Geelong two runs back but was less effective last time over 5½f at this track, finishing 6 lengths back in eighth. Nicely placed to make amends.
