VOLANDER (13) resumes from a lay-off of two years. Could only manage to finish fifth at the latest run over 6f at Caulfield. Launched last prep with a minor placing at Caulfield over 6f. Has ability and can get off the mark. ONNAMUSHA (12) lines up for the first time since January 3. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 6f at Ballarat. Has found a suitable race. GLOBAL KING (2) went forward last time but couldn't quicken in the run home and finished fifth over 5f at Cranbourne. Worth including in this suitable contest. MET WITH LUCK (3) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on October 22 finishing tenth and beaten 5 lengths over 6f at Sha Tin. Under the care of new trainer Ben, Will & Jd Hayes this prep. Settles back early but winds up late. Must be respected.
