UNIQUE AMBITION (4) won when resuming then was less effective in stakes class when fifth in the G3 Angst Stakes at Randwick. Will find this much easier. Fitter and worth another chance. NAVAL COMMISSION (3) was sent out at long odds when resuming last time but ran above expectations to finish second, beaten only a nose, over 7f at Warwick Farm. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Will play a major role. MODESTY (9) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6½f at Warwick Farm, beaten 3 lengths. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. CEERSEVEN (2) finished third last time over 1m at Moonee Valley, beaten 2 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Nicely placed to fill a top-three spot again.
