MONTE SUPREME (7) settled well back and never threatened when seventh over 6f at Randwick last time out. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. GAI'S ARTIST (9) finished eighth last start over 7f at Randwick Kensington after racing on the pace for much of the way. Well placed and expected to feature. DIRECT FIRE (10) finished fourth over 6f at Kembla Grange when resuming last start, beaten only a neck after being in the firing line on the corner. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
