CAPTAIN FURAI (19) was a winner over 6½f at Randwick Kensington last time, racing on the pace before getting the upper hand and scoring by 2 lengths. Will be tough to rein in again. FRANZ JOSEF (6) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second when resuming last time out over 6½f at Randwick Kensington. Taking on a better line-up this time but he cannot be underestimated. TAJAWAL (3) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 3.5 lengths into seventh over 1m1/2f at Scone. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. FEARLESS WRITER (5) finished third last start over 6f at Flemington, beaten 2.75 lengths. Should take a lot from that hit-out. Suitably placed so anticipating another strong effort.
