LAST STRAW (2) was sent out at long odds when resuming last time but ran above expectations to finish second, beaten only a head, over 7f at Warwick Farm. Can frank that form here. GOOD BANTER (10) returned from a lay-off three-and-a-half weeks ago when she was beaten 2.25 lengths into fourth over 6½f at Newcastle. Taking on a better field but she is fitter and worth serious consideration. WAIKATO GIRL (4) was narrowly beaten last start when second in a small field over 7f at Randwick Kensington at the first run of the campaign. Will be fitter for that run, in the mix again. ABOUT A GIRL (8) finished fourth over 7f at Warwick Farm when resuming last start, beaten only 1.5 lengths. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.
