SHOALWATER BAY (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7¾f at Mackay, beaten 0. 8 lengths into fourth after being in contention on the bend. Has the talent to take care of this field. BUGDEN (6) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 7 lengths when eighth in a 7½f contest at Warwick a week-and-a-half ago. This doesn't look as hard so he is set to turn things around. HI FRANK (7) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3 lengths when fourth over 7f at Tambo two weeks ago. Meeting a deeper field this time but he cannot be taken lightly. THIRTEENTH MAN (4) did a great job to score by 2 lengths over this course and distance last time out to continue his outstanding recent form. No reason he cannot salute again.
