HVARDANCE (8) started at 9/4 last time but could only manage fifth, beaten 6 lengths, at Cunnamulla over 6f. Well placed and can bounce back. READY TO MINGLE (12) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when seventh in a 6f contest at Gayndah two weeks ago. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. JOHNNY UTAH (5) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just two wins from 30 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when seventh over 6f at Barcaldine, beaten 6 lengths. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he will be hard to beat. LUCKY FORCE (2) opened this prep with a win then was not as effective last time out when sixth over 6f at Barcaldine, beaten 5 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish.
