ABLETT (2) scored last start by 1.1 lengths at Thangool over 4f. Yet to miss the placings here in an excellent record which boasts two wins and one placing. Bold showing expected. MON PIERRE (1) showed good speed to lead over 6f at Barcaldine last start but faded right out of it to finish seventh. Should be prominent from the outset. Sure to be in the finish. LUMINOUS WATERS (11) has been thereabouts without winning, the most recent effort a third at Gayndah over 5f when she was beaten 2 lengths. Likely to go forward from a nice draw. One of the main contenders. STENSON WALLMAN (4) has not won for a long while. Last raced on May 24 when beaten 4 lengths into fifth at Chinchilla over 5f76yards. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is up to the task.
