MANAVENDRA (3) missed the placings two runs back then got a long way back last start when 12 lengths away in 12th over 1m at Carnarvon. Finds a tougher race but a big run is on the cards. DESERT EDGE (5) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Northam, finishing second and only 1. 75 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m3f after being prominent at the turn. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves plenty of thought. LET'S SEA (8) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 1m at Carnarvon, beaten 4 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. That followed a win at Carnarvon at the previous outing. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is good enough to play a major role. ZADAR ROCK (1) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by 1. 4 lengths over 1m2 1/4f at Port Hedland. Well placed to feature in the finish again.
