Sound record at this distance with three wins and seven minor placings from 14 runs and should be in the finish. WAX ON WAX OFF (6) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 0. 9 lengths away in fourth last time out over 6f at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. OUR EAGLE ROCK (2) is back from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 5½f at this track. Fitter for a fourth in a recent trial over 4¼f at Sunshine Coast Inner Track. Should be prominent. KRACKACAN (3) is a handy type who resumes after a break of five-and-a-half months. At his last appearance he finished fifth over 5½f at Doomben, beaten 4. 5 lengths. Fitter for a recent trial at Rockhampton. Has never been out of the placings when resuming from two tries. This is far easier. Has to be respected in this company.
