CARACRISTI (3) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1m1f at Mackay after being prominent at the bend. Likely improver with strong prospects. ALL BUSINESS (1) finished 4.5 lengths back in fifth over 1m at this track at the latest appearance just a week ago. Worth another chance. ROY'S ROAD (4) showed early speed from an outside draw last time and led for much of the way before fading to finish fifth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 7½f at this track. Deserves respect.
