TEN CARAT LUCY (4) settled back before coming home strongly to score as favourite on debut over 5¼f at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago. Promising type who can go back-to-back. ZELEZNY (2) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 16 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when ninth over 6½f at Mackay, beaten 7 lengths. This is a nice drop in grade so he will be hard to beat. SCRUFFY (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she got a long way back over 6f at Ipswich, beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. HI FRANK (5) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5¼f at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. Strips fitter and can figure in the finish.
