REPLACE THE ACE (2) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish second, beaten 1.75 lengths, over 1m2f at Mackay. Top-three hope. ZOFFANY'S GAZE (1) has not won for a long while. Last raced on April 12 when beaten 5.5 lengths into seventh at this track over 6f. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
