DETERMINATION (5) broke his maiden last start over 5¼f at Mackay, scoring by 0.8 lengths. One of the likely contenders despite the step up in grade. LONHY'S FABRE (6) has not raced since he scored on debut over 5½f at Mackay on September 5. Is lightly raced and looks forward enough after a solid recent trial. Definite player.
