WHITSUNDAY SESSION (14) wasted no time getting off the mark as favourite on debut over 5½f at this track four-and-a-half months ago and has not been produced since. Has since been kept ticking over with a Rockhampton trial win. Likely improver who should run well again. NOBLE HEART (5) started at 4/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 3.5 lengths at Mackay over 6½f. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to take this out. PERIGEAN (1) displayed plenty of early toe and went on to score by a long neck last time out over 5½f at Doomben. Drawn to enjoy a nice run just off the speed. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. BOOMING LAD (3) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 6½f at Mackay after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Well placed and can figure in the finish again.
