DRAGON'S SNIP (3) scored at this track last time out with a neck in reserve at the end of 5¼f. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including five wins. Drawn to enjoy a nice run just off the lead. Will give a great sight. DESERT KOBY (2) could only manage fourth last start over 6f at Doomben, beaten 6 lengths. Has a very good record here including three wins from five starts. Sure to run well. QUADE (6) resumes from a lay-off of three-and-a-half months. Has filled a minor placing at both when resuming runs. Opened last prep with a third over 5f at Toowoomba. Definite top-three chance. PERIGEAN (4) accounted for a maiden field over 5½f at Doomben last start, finishing a long neck ahead of the nearest rival. Harder here but should be involved in the finish.
