MONEYLINE (2) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 1. 3 lengths over 1m at Lone Star Park Turf (Turf) after being prominent at the turn. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge. TWENTY ONE SKIDOO (5) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then he got a long way back and was beaten 5 lengths when fifth in a 7f contest at Lone Star Park seven weeks ago. Worth noting Leandro Goncalves goes aboard. Ideally placed and is sure to play a major role. HAMLIN (7) hit the frame with a 1. 4 lengths third on turf at Lone Star Park Turf two starts back. Disappointed last time though, again on the turf, at Evangeline Downs Turf over 1m when 9 lengths from the winner in seventh. Change of rider to Ramon A Vazquez who has an excellent strike rate when in the saddle, including two wins. Should be involved in the finish. ESSENTIAL TIME (6) is putting together some solid results. Finished second at Louisiana Downs Turf (Turf) two starts back then scored by 1. 3 lengths as public elect last time out over 7f at Louisiana Downs (Dirt). Nicely placed to go back-to-back.
