VESTES (5) could only manage fifth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6½f at this track, beaten 3 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Faces an easier assignment so he is a major player. GREAT RUNNER (3) turned in another moderate effort last start when 10 lengths from the winner in sixth over 7f at this track. Nicely placed to find some form.
