NAVY BUOY (9) was impressive last time at Tuncurry, scoring by 3 lengths over this trip. Will find this much tougher but a bold showing is expected. ROSES IMMINENTE (10) drifted well back then came with a powerful run to finish 2. 25 lengths from the winner in third when resuming last start over 6¾f at Beaumont (Newcastle). Well placed to feature again. MOUNT BONA (2) has scored at her last two starts, most recently by half a length over 7½f at Rosehill. That continued the good form this campaign, with two wins from four starts. Should be in the finish. SACRED MISTRESS (4) did a little better last start at the second run of the campaign, finishing fourth over 7½f at Rosehill. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Not to be discounted.
