SHIKI (3) impressed when successful as favourite on debut over 5f in the G3 Gimcrack Stakes at this track 11 weeks ago and has not been produced since. Has since been kept ticking over with a Randwick Kensington trial win. Will come on following that run and looks tough to hold out again. HARDANGER (4) is a two-year-old filly on debut by Pinatubo from Gloriette who has been an outstanding producer including winners at black type level. Has only trialled once and finished in the placings at Canterbury. Sure to be well-educated, being from the Michael Freedman stable. Importantly has a nice gate and looks certain to be competitive. NORMAN'S CAY (6) is a nicely bred filly by sire Too Darn Hot from the stakes-winner Westport on debut. Winner of a recent Randwick Kensington trial. Keep an eye on betting moves. WOODENBRIDGE (8) is a two-year-old filly at the races for the first time. From an elite family that includes black type success, being by Wootton Bassett from Now Now. Was out of the placings at Canterbury at her most recent trial. Beautifully drawn and should be in the finish.
