OSTRAKA (6) was sent out at long odds when resuming last time but ran above expectations to finish third, beaten only 0.7 lengths, over 5f in the G3 Concorde Stakes at this track. Chad Schofield sticks. Sure to run well. COMPELLING TRUTH (8) really dug deep to score by half a length three runs back in the LR Hinkler Quality at Eagle Farm before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Drawn to enjoy a nice trail just off the pace. Will give a great sight. JOLIESTAR (4) finished off last campaign with a win over 6½f in the G1 Kingsford Smith Cup at Eagle Farm. Filled a placing in a recent Randwick trial. Has a very good when resuming record and was in the money in her last when resuming run, is among the better hopes. DRAGONSTONE (7) finished 3.5 lengths behind the winner in tenth place when resuming over 5f last start in the G3 Concorde Stakes at this track. Generally goes well with that run under the belt. Likely improver.
