PRIVATE EYE (3) continues to race well with a win in a in the G2 PB Lawrence Stakes at Caulfield before finishing 1.2 lengths away in second last time over 7f in the G2 Tramway Stakes at this track. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Best figures should see him run well. LINDERMANN (6) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by a head over 1m in the G2 Chelmsford Stakes at this track. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. CEOLWULF (1) has been about the mark of late. Last time out was 2.5 lengths from the winner in fourth over 1m in the G2 Chelmsford Stakes at this track. Settles back early but winds up late. Will be picking them up late. FANGIRL (11) drifted well back last start then wound up strongly to finish fourth, beaten 4 lengths, over 7f in the G1 Memsie Stakes at Caulfield. Outdashed but got home well and the extra ground looks a big plus. Sound each-way chance.
