BANDI'S BOY (10) did his best work late to finish second at big odds at his latest appearance in the G3 Aurie's Star Handicap at Flemington over 6f. Good signs last time and can play a major role. GENERAL SALUTE (5) returns from a 56 day break after finishing third in the G3 WJ Healy Stakes at Eagle Farm last time. Readied for this with a recent trial placing. Settles back early but winds up late. Don't underestimate.
