Will prove tough to beat. JACOB'S TIME (6) bounced back last start and got the job done by 1.2 lengths over 1m at Hawkesbury. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role. DIRECT FIRE (8) was in the firing line on the corner and finished third last start over 7½f at Rosehill, beaten 1.3 lengths. Should be cherry-ripe. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race.
