GITALONG (6) strode forward early from his wide draw when resuming last start over 5f at Caulfield then fought on gamely to finish second. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing. IN FLIGHT (9) has scored at her last two starts, most recently by 0.8 lengths over 5½f at Rosehill as favourite. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with three wins from four outings. Can measure up again. DIPSY DOODLE (7) raced on the speed before fading to finish sixth last start when resuming over 5½f at Warwick Farm. Usually performs well with that run under her belt. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. One of the main contenders. THE ESCAPE (11) produced a reasonable effort when fifth last start over 5½f at Rosehill. That followed a win at Wyong the start prior. Worth plenty of thought.
