BACKWARD GLANCE (7) turned in a modest performance when fifth last time out over 6½f at Scone, beaten 4.5 lengths. That followed a win at Scone at the previous outing. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. HOO HAA (8) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 1.75 lengths away in fifth last time out over 6¾f at Wyong after being in the firing line on the bend. Tackling a more suitable race this time so she is set to turn things around. SHEZATEMPEST (18) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 8 lengths when seventh over 1m1/4f at Moe six weeks ago after being in contention on the bend. Nicely placed to take this out. SHARPEN THE KNIVES (6) hit the frame two starts ago at Tamworth but ran below par last time when seventh and beaten 4 lengths over 5f at Tamworth. Well placed and should be in the mix.
