SPONARS (3) is back after a break of five-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 5f at Hawkesbury. One of the genuine hopes in the race. DIRTY DANI (6) has been in the money at her last couple of runs but struggling to break through, the latest effort a third over 5½f at Armidale. Expected to be in the finish. ELASAND (7) could only manage seventh two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 4f130yards at Moruya, beaten 2. 75 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. ROSELILY (9) is a nicely bred four-year-old mare lining up for the first time. By Pariah from Zedity who has a high percentage of winners-to-runners. Has only trialled once and filled a minor placing at Canberra Acton. Should be thereabouts despite an awkward gate.
