PACIFIC MICK (2) was in the money at Hawkesbury when resuming two runs back then could only manage fourth at Kembla Grange over 6f two-and-a-half weeks ago. Settles off the speed. Overdue and shapes as a leading chance this line-up. THE ADIGE (5) is returning from a lay-off of three-and-a-half months. Finished fifth at Terang over 6f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Joe Cleary. Ran sixth in a trial at Goulburn over 3¾f recently. One of the better hopes despite the layoff. HOLD MY DRINK (1) improved last start to finish third over 6½f at Illawarra Grange after being prominent at the bend. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. ENTRAPMENT (4) is a six-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 5. 5 lengths when sixth over 6½f at Kembla Grange. Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration.
