Will take a lot from that hit-out and looks a strong chance to break through. BARSANDBI (7) was in contention on the corner and finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 4½f at Newcastle, beaten 1. 75 lengths. Meeting a deeper field this time but she cannot be ruled out. BRUTAL ADVANCE (1) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Kerry Parker yard. Finished off last campaign with a seventh at Gold Coast four months ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but looks well placed. Shapes as a top-three chance.
