Race Tip

NAUGHTY SORT (4) broke through for her maiden win over 7f at Kembla Grange last time. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looks well placed and she is a key runner. HELL ISLAND (8) gave away a big start at the top of the straight last start and finished 7 lengths from the winner in eighth over 7½f at Newcastle. Likely to be in the finish in this suitable assignment. FIRE ISLAND (7) gave a bold sight at the latest appearance over 1m2f at Kembla Grange but dropped out to finish tenth. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. One of the main contenders. FIRST CLASS BABY (2) was a most impressive maiden winner over 7f at Nowra last time out, scoring by 2. 25 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Harder task ahead this time but can measure up.
