Aaron Bullock scored on him last time and retains the ride. This doesn't look as hard so he is a major player. PINOT NERO (5) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on November 15, finishing 11th and beaten 43 lengths over 1m in the G3 NJC Spring Stakes at Newcastle. Has ability and should be right in the finish. FAIZA STAR (9) finished third two runs back at Taree then improved last time out to score by 1. 3 lengths over 7½f at this track. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. HIGHLY TEMPTED (3) got the prize two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 7½f at this track, beaten 5. 5 lengths. Best figures measure up so deserves another chance.
