XTREME (6) turned in a nice effort last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just 1. 1 lengths from the winner in second over 6f at Coffs Harbour after being prominent at the bend. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. PURPLE HAZE (3) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found a couple better over 7f at Scone, beaten only 1. 75 lengths. Goes up a rung or two but he is up to the task. PEAR BELLINI (9) has two minor placings from three starts this time in work, the latest as favourite over 7½f at this track. Has been thereabouts without winning and she is a leading hope. MINI BOO (8) finished 2. 25 lengths away in fourth at her last appearance over 6f122yards at Taree on February 13. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around.
