DARK CHILL (2) was in the money two starts back at Lismore but was unable to repeat the effort last time when eighth, beaten 3. 5 lengths, at Armidale over 7f. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. ROCKBARTON ANGEL (4) was a winner over 7f at Newcastle last time, racing on the pace before getting the upper hand and scoring by 1. 4 lengths. Likely to be in the finish again. SPANDEX (6) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Muswellbrook but raced below expectations last time over 7f at Newcastle, finishing seventh and beaten 4. 5 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is one of the main contenders. ATHENA'S TREASURE (3) will find this easier than last start when she raced in a rearwards position and never threatened, finishing tenth over 6f at Randwick. That effort came on the back of a win in a at this track. Capable of a better run.
