SURPASSER (7) did little and finished 2. 5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 6¼f at Taree last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth on debut at Beaumont (Newcastle) the run before. Finds a suitable assignment and can turn things around. BOHEMIAN ART (9) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish second, beaten 1. 3 lengths, over 7½f at this track. Solid run last time and will take catching again. BOBBY (6) is a six-start maiden who could only manage to finish fifth at his latest appearance over 6½f at Coffs Harbour. Among the chances in what looks a nice race for him. BOULEVARD BOY (1) returned from a lay-off a week-and-a-half ago when he was beaten 4 lengths into sixth over 6¼f at Taree. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.
