Race Tip

SCHOLL DEEP (4) did little and finished 9 lengths from the winner in 11th over 7f at Newcastle last start after being in the firing line on the turn, a less impressive effort than her when resuming fifth at this track the run before. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. MEGHAN (10) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 21 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when seventh over 1m at Taree, beaten 3 lengths. The engagement of Jon Grisedale is a positive move. Likely contender with strong prospects. MONTE MAXIMUS (5) tackled city class latest when seventh at Doomben, finishing 6 lengths from the winner. Will find this much easier. Sure to be competitive. WILDERNESS STAR (7) proved too strong two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when 12th over 6f at this track, beaten 6 lengths. In the mix.
