DARK VADOR (2) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Orange, finishing second and only a long neck from the winner at the end of 7f after being in the firing line on the bend. The engagement of Ashley Morgan is a positive move. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. WING NUT (4) broke through for his maiden win over 7½f at this track last time. Winning rider Teighan Worsnop stays aboard and he is one of the main chances. RAISED BY WOLVES (7) improved sharply on his fifth two starts back at Coffs Harbour with success as favourite over 6½f at Coffs Harbour a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by a nose. Nicely placed to feature in the finish again. WHATEVER IT TAKES (5) proved too strong two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when seventh over 1m at Coffs Harbour, beaten 3.5 lengths. Worth plenty of thought.
