EXCELMAN (1) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only half a length over 1m1 3/4f at this track. Yet to miss the placings in two starts over this course and distance. Has the class to figure prominently. I NEED A DRINK (3) turned in a fine effort to score by half a length at this course and distance last start in a much improved run. Finds the right race and can keep the ball rolling. I'M A DEXSTAR (2) was safely held when third last time out over 1m1 3/4f at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. That followed a win at Morphettville at the previous outing. Perfectly placed and is sure to bounce back to form. ICHIBANSAN (4) progressed nicely last time out to score by 4 lengths over 1m3/4f at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
