SIR PANAMA (3) settled well back then found the line nicely to finish sixth, beaten 1.3 lengths, over this journey at this track last time out. Well placed and the one to beat. ALFANO (2) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing fifth and beaten 5 lengths starting at 2/1. Has the talent to find the winners' list. REGAL ROCKET (7) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 1.1 lengths over 7f at Penong. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the key runners. SHORT STORIES (10) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 7f at Penong after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Looks to be in the right race so another bold effort is on the cards.
