SACRED CHORD (1) built on a nice second two starts back at Murray Bridge with a win as favourite over 5½f at Quorn eight days ago, getting home by 6 lengths. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to score again. WANDERING EYE (3) was comfortably accounted for when fourth last time out over 5f at Roxby Downs, beaten 16 lengths. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. The engagement of Isaac Sit is a positive move. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough. WENDOUREE (2) is back from a five-and-a-half months lay-off and he does run well when resuming, including a win over 4¾f at Moree at the start of last prep. Placed in a recent trial. Winning chance while fresh. SENGOKI (6) finished fourth last time out over 7f at Quorn, beaten 5 lengths. One of the main contenders.
