VATICAN STORM (10) recorded a strong maiden win over 6f at Pinjarra last time, getting there by 2 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looks well placed and a bold showing is expected. RETURN OF THE MACH (5) hit the frame two starts ago at Ascot but ran below par last time when seventh and beaten 3. 5 lengths over 7f at Ascot. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. PRINCESS IN RED (1) started favourite last time out over 6f at Pinjarra but found a couple better, making it two minor placings from three starts this campaign. She has solid claims. CANTRIX (8) has returned in good order this campaign. Opened with a third at Pinjarra two starts back then landed the prize by half a length as favourite last time out over 6½f at Pinjarra. Likely to be in the finish again.
